A31 Closure and Recent Fires – Community Feedback

Following the recent fires and closure of the A31, the multi-agency response is now moving from the emergency response phase into recovery. As part of this transition, NFDC has been asked to establish a Community Recovery Working Group.

To help inform the group, Burley Parish Council is seeking residents’ views on any impacts they have experienced, including:

* Traffic and road conditions
* Impact on local businesses
* Litter and waste
* Access and disruption to the village
* Emergency services and access
* Any other impacts arising from the A31 closure or fires
* Any immediate concerns or priorities that you feel should be addressed

I will collate the responses and provide a summary to the Community Recovery Working Group, helping to ensure that the concerns and experiences of the Burley community are properly represented.
