When and Where We Meet

As a general rule, the Council currently meets on the second Wednesday of each month, but not usually in August. Meetings are held in 'Harry's Room' in the Village Hall at 7.00 p.m. All members of the public & press are warmly welcome and there is always a period for public participation at the beginning of every meeting. Planning Applications are considered during the course of the meeting by the whole council sitting as the Planning Committee. Notice of meetings is displayed on the parish notice board one week before the meetings. Minutes of meetings may be found on this website.

In addition, a Parish Assembly is held each spring. Technically, this is not a meeting of the Parish Council but a public meeting to which all local electors have the right to attend and speak. As well as receiving an "annual report" from the chairman of the Parish Council, our District and County Councillors also attend the Annual Parish Assembly and report on the activities of their respective councils.
